Read scriptures for 30 days 30/30

11-23-10 I have read my scriptures every night for 30 days. I have seen myself view the world differently since I have read the scriptures. I got the seminary guide book. This has helped me to see how I can understand what I am reading. I have noticed that I want to read more and more each night. I can not go to sleep now without reading them because I feel like I have missed something. I hope I can do this for days to come.

Journal about being grateful for 30 days 30/30

January 2011 I have journaled for 3 days. There are so many things to be grateful for I can't believe I ever complain.

11-11-10 I started my grateful journal. I am wondering if I should have 3 journals or combine them into one?

Attend the temple once a month for 6 months 2/6

12-18 I went to the temple today with Cristi. It was fun to go with someone else and learn more.

11-6-10 I was able to do inititories with my friends in the St. George temple. That was the first time I had done that since I did it for my self 5 years ago. I loved hearing all of those blessings again and it made me more inspired to go back.

Write in a journal about my testimony for 30 days 30/30

January 2011 I have finished journaling about my testimony. When I had to give a talk in church I felt so calm because I had prepared my testimony everyday. I would like to look at opportunities more and see how they can strengthen my testimony.

11-11-10 I have been journaling about what I read in the scriptures. Last night I wrote how what I read stengthened my testimony.

Enter Case notes daily for 21 days 21/21

12-23-10 I have made my goal. I feel so much more caught up now. It is great to accomplish this goal. Now I wish I had an incentive to do it with my consultation notes.

11-19-10 I have entered my casenotes for 14 days straight now. They finally fixed the casework percentages and I am right on track. I am going on vacation until the 30th so I will start right back up then.

11-11-10 My work changed the system so I get a percentage for entering the case notes in 48 hours. This has helped me stay on track.

So I saw this girl with the cutest toes ever! I asked her where she got them done and she said they were done with gel. I asked around and found someone that would do them for me. I was so impressed I have decided to get them done every three months!

Learn How to make really good rolls.

So my friend Megan told me about this site called Ourbestbites. She told me that is where she got her dough recipe to make calzones. I tried the recipe and it was fabulous. I decided to look for more recipes. I found this recipe for "worlds best rolls" It only took me two attempts to get it right. It would have turned out right the first time if I would have only put the eggs in :( They were so delicious I only wanted to eat them for dinner.

So I asked around which scriptures would be the best for Maddyn's age. This is what I was told to get. I was right on it. I went online and ordered the book. Then I went out of town with some friends and we went to the distribution center. I saw the book there and got so excited I bought it forgetting about my previous purchase. Therefore I now own the second book on the page also. Both great purchases. I hope this will help me read and understand the scriptures with Maddyn!
